The Assembly Entertainment has set to bring the Los Angeles Filipino community to raise money for the survivors of Typhoon Haiyan with the benefit concert “Lift your Voice” which will be held on December 19th 2013 in Glendale, Ca.
“Lift Your Voice: Benefit for Typhoon Haiyan” is a concert and charity event focused on giving back to the survivors of, Category 5 Super Typhoon, Typhoon Haiyan that has left the Philippines devastated and over 5,000 diseased.
Lift Your Voice will feature a slew of amazing recording artists and voices including Cheesa and Anthony Evans from NBC’s The Voice, Sony Japan recording artist Kylee, Manu Aguilar from La Academia Mexicana, Krystle Cruz from The CW’s The Next, Philippine recording artist signed to VIVA Entertainment who was partnered with Kelly Clarkson ABC’s Duets Jason Farol, just to name a few.
The show will be held at Filipino restaurant, Noypitz, in Glendale California on Thursday, December 19th 2013 from 7:00pm – 10:00 pm.
The Assembly Entertainment decided to team up with and support the fundraising efforts of, University of Southern California’s campus organization, TroyPhi by donating a portion of the proceeds to Action Against Hunger, rated as a four star charity by Charity Navigator. Another portion of the proceeds will be given to Caritas Internationalis whose mission is “ending poverty, promoting justice and restoring dignity”.
The concert is an important opportunity that will be beneficial for all organizations involved, but most importantly the survivors of Typhoon Haiyan.
