Matsui Sakiko to graduate from AKB48

AKB48 Team K member Matsui Sakiko announced her graduation on May 29th.

A 7th generation member, Matsui may not be a top ranked senbatsu member, but she was able to gain media attention due to her piano skills and release her first album “Kokyuu Suru Piano” in 2012.

Matsui’s final performance date as an AKB48 member will be announced soon.

New Nekketsu game released on the 3DS

Ahh….memories of my youth playing “River City Ransom” and “Dodgeball” on the NES.

The Nekketsu games have been popular among fans and while the games have not received the same kind of love from fans with their new releases, perhaps that may change with the release of “Dowtown Nekketsu Jidaigeki” which features the same type of fighter as the original games.

In her blog, Mizuno was more thankful to her fans and the fellow members of LinQ but also discussing the challenges that she has faced as a member of the group and thanking them for their support.

Paruru’s reply back to Nakai on “UTAGE!”

Interesting now (because of the latest AKB48 single) that Shimazaki Haruka a.k.a. “Paruru” has to be the person having to answer questions from the host, Nakai Masahiro (also the leader of SMAP) on television…but a lot of people on Japanese forums who are not familiar with Paruru (she is not very talkative) were surprised of what she said to Nakai, and her reply to him to not talk so much.

Nakai laughed it off saying it’s not his job to not talk.

It’s funny and cute, so I think Paruru can get away with it.
