Since June, Konishi took an indefinite break due to lower back/hip pain. Seeing the success that the four other members were having, Konishi said that she didn’t have the confidence to keep going.
The good news is that she will continue to work with the four in the future.
We wish Ayano the best in whichever career direction she chooses!

According to TC Candler, “Unlike many other annual rankings, The Independent Critics List is not a popularity contest. It is not about the sexiest or the most famous. Rather, the list attempts to inform public opinion instead of reflectng it. This list searches far and wide, listening to the millions of suggestions submitted every year, and tries to put together a list representative of the modern ideal of beauty. Aesthetic perfection is only one of the criteria. Grace, elegance, class, poise, joy, promise, hope… they are all embodied in a beautiful face.
The Independent Critics are a diverse group of men and women, young and old, originating from and living in various parts of the world, led by TC Candler, who take the millions of public suggestions each year and narrow the 50,000+ celebrities in the database down to a Top 100. We hope you enjoy the list. Watch the video and please comment with your take. Who did you discover? Who did we miss? This is a celebration of femininity and the art of beauty. From Helen of Troy to Cleopatra to Marilyn Monroe… these are the legends of our time.”
