McDonald’s Tsukimi Burger (Moon Viewing Burger) 25th Anniversary


Back in 1991, McDonald’s began a tradition of creating the Tsukimi Burger (Moon Viewing Burger) and is released only in the fall in Japan.

Featuring an egg, beef patty, smoky bacon and special sauce (mayo and ketchup), the Tsukimi burger returns for the 25th anniversary of the popular sandwich.


The sandwich goes on sale on August 31st through the first week of October and costs 340 yen for the Tsukimi Burger, 37 yen for the Cheese Tsukimi and for the 25th anniversary, the new 390 yen Mangetsu Cheese Tsukimi.

All you can eat at Dotonbori Kanza at Tokyo Dome City


Are you planning to head to Tokyo Dome City on March 1st?

All you can eat is 1,380 yen for 90 minutes.

The promotion is to showcase the award wining fried chicken that will be 1.5 larger than before and will debut on March 15th.

Mos Burger opens pasta & salad eatery – mia cucina


Mos Burgers are known for its delicious burgers but now, Mos Food Services will open “mia cucina” on March 2nd at Amagasaki Kyuzu Mall.

The store will feature affordable food under 1000 yen and store hours are from 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.

With Comiket on the 29th, McDonald’s has targeted the otaku demographic.

Netizens question the pricing structure by McDonald’s and ask…”are you really lovin’ it?”.

The Mobile Suit Gundam 35th Anniversary Cake


Possibly one of the coolest things to come out this year in celebration of the 35th Anniversary of “Mobile Suit Gundam” is the “Gundam Opera Cake” in commemoration of the first model releases.

To be sold ala Premium Bandai for Y3,980 (including tax + shipping and handling), the cake has a look of a 1/144 scale Gundam.


The bottom layers feature chocolate sponge cake with coffee cream on the top.  Almonds are between the layers of sponge cake along with coffee syrup.


And the spoon and fork, offered for a limited time, is something that Gundam fans will enjoy!

On August 21st, Sagami-ya food will release Zaku tofu in three types.  You have a choice of mild, bitter or milk chocolate flavored tofu.

Love Live! Ramen – You know you want some!?


For fans of “Love Live!”, coming soon is “Love! Live” ramen to celebrate the release of the “Love Live! The School Idol Movie”.

The ramen will be released on June 1st and will cost 200 yen + tax.
