Amuro Namie x Hatsune Miku collaboration for Nylon Japan


For the online version of Nylon Magazine, pop artist Amuro Namie (illustrated) and Vocaloid icon Hatsune Miku are collaborating in a special fashion shoot.  The issue will be released on September 28th and a music video titled “B Who I Want 2 B” will be released in October.

Virtual idol Hatsune Miku performed live on “Late Night with David Letterman”.

Miku performed”Sharing the World”, the theme song for “MIKUEXPO”.

The comments on the performance have been mixed.

After the performance, David Letterman joked, “It’s like being on Willie Nelson’s bus.” (note: Willie Nelson is an activist for the legalization of marijuana).

“Hatsune Miku -Project DIVA – F 2nd” from SEGA for the PS VITA takes the #1 position on the charts (March 24-30) as the best selling game of the week with 140,327 copies sold.  “Mario Party Island Tour” from Nintendo for the Nintendo 3DS takes  #2 with 140,320 copies sold while “Hatsune Miku -Project DIVA – F 2nd” from SEGA for the PS3 takes #3.
