Karuho Shiina’s “Kimi ni Todoke” Vol. 21 is the best selling manga in Japan for a second straight week

The Shueisha manga series “Kimi ni Todoke” (君に届け) Vol. 21 is currently the #1 selling manga in Japan for the second straight week with 166,060 copies sold.

The shojo manga is written and illustrated by mangaka Karuho Shiina and has been serialzied in Shueisha’s “Bessatsu Margaret” since 2005 and was the winner of the “Best Shojo Manga Award” in the 32nd annual Kodansha Manga Award back in 2008.

“Shokugeki no Soma” is the second best selling manga with 114,690 copies sold. “To LOVEru-toraburu- Darkness” vol. 10 is the third best selling manga with 131,565 copies sold.

Kimi ni Todoke Vol. 21 is the best selling manga in Japan

The Shueisha manga series “Kimi ni Todoke” (君に届け) Vol. 21 is currently the #1 selling manga in Japan with over 555,076 copies sold.

The shojo manga is written and illustrated by mangaka Karuho Shiina and has been serialzied in Shueisha’s “Bessatsu Margaret” since 2005 and was the winner of the “Best Shojo Manga Award” in the 32nd annual Kodansha Manga Award back in 2008.

Uchyu Kyodai is the second best selling manga with 114,690 copies sold.   “Jojo Lion” vol. 6 is the third best selling manga with 100,733 copies sold.

One Piece vol. 72 is the #1 selling manga for the week of 10/28-11/3, 2013

Oda Eiichiro’s “One Piece” vol. 72 takes the #1 spot on the Oricon Manga Charts for October 28-November 3rd.

The manga series sold 1.54 million copies while last week’s #1, “Kimi ni Todoke” (君に届け) vol. 20 by Karuho Shiina has continued to stay strong  at #2 with 289,956 copies sold.  While D. Gray-Man vol. 24 by Katsura Hoshino takes the #3 spot with 178,091 copies sold.

Kimi ni Todoke (君に届け) Vol. 20 is the #1 selling manga in Japan (November 4, 2013)

The Shueisha manga series “Kimi ni Todoke” (君に届け) Vol. 20 is currently the #1 selling manga in Japan with over 387,520 copies sold.

The shojo manga is written and illustrated by mangaka Karuho Shiina and has been serialzied in Shueisha’s “Bessatsu Margaret” since 2005 and was the winner of the “Best Shojo Manga Award” in the 32nd annual Kodansha Manga Award back in 2008.

In the U.S., the manga series is released by Viz Media.

#2 goes to Kodansha’s “Vagabond” vol. 36 by Takehiko Inoue which sold 248,629 copies (also released in the U.S. by Viz Media), followed by the release of “Uchyuu Kodai” (宇宙兄弟) vol. 22 written by Chuya Koyama with 238,039 copies sold.
