Morning Musume ’14 and 2PM take the #1 spot on the Oricon Daily Single and Album Charts

Morning Musume ’14 has their second straight 100,000+ seller on single debut day on the Oricon Daily Charts.

Their latest single “Egao no Kimi wa Taiyou sa / Kimi no Kawari wa Iyashinai / What is LOVE?” sold 119,442 copies, edging out Amuro Namie’s “TSUKI” which sold 18,680 and aiko’s “Kimi no Tonari” which sold 17,168.

On the album charts, 2PM takes the #1 spot with their album “Genesis of 2PM” which sold 43,323 copies.  In second place was Uta no Prince-Sama Gekidan Shining soundtrack which sold 13,800 copies and at third place, Honeyworks’ “Zutto Mae Kara Sukideshita.” sold 6,856 copies.

Iwasa Misaki (Wasamin) scores her first #1 single on the Oricon CD Single Daily Charts

Congratulations to AKB48 member Misaki Iwasa (Wasamin), who scored her first #1 CD single on the Oricon CD Single Daily Charts with her third enka single “Tomo no Ura Bojo”.

Meanwhile, Sandaime J SOUL BROTHERS from EXILE TRIBE continues to have the #1 album with “THE BEST/BLUE IMPACT”.

SMAP and Kobukuro take the #1 spot in Japan for Oricon singles and album charts (December 18, 2013)

Today in Japan, SMAP has taken the #1 spot on the Oricon Daily Charts with their latest single “Shareotsu” with 122,098 copies sold, UVERworld was #2 with “Nano Second” with over 28,492 copies sold and boy band U-KISS takes the #3 spot with “Fall in Love/Shape of your heart”.

On the album charts, Kobukuro took the #1 spot with “One Song from Two Hearts” which sold 45,974 copies for the day, BENI’s “COVERS 3” was #2 and sold 9,203 copies sold and CODE-V was #3 with “Yoyogi” which sold 9,058 copies.
